After author Juliet Peabody retired from a fast-paced career in the marketing arena of the tech industry, she and her husband Frank divided their time between their homes in Vermont (Frank's boyhood summer haven) and Charleston, South Carolina. While Frank developed a passion for watercolors, Juliet became enthralled and enchanted with gardening.
There, in the wonder of nature, she could reflect and learn from her endeavors in the quiet and solitude. The land and soil spoke to her, and horticulture became integrated with her spirit.
